- Joe
identifies the man sitting in the front row, seventh from the
left (with arms folded) as Cassius "Cash" Rose. Cash
was born c. 1873, and died in 1945. Another individual that can
be recognized is Conda Knee who was a mail carrier in Shelby
for many years. He is at the extreme left of the first row that
is standing. Conda was born in Chaneysville, Pa. in 1886 and
passed away here in Shelby in 1956.

you identify any others. When was the picture taken? A clue would
be the notice on the sign indicating that French A. Gilmore is
the church Pastor.
