Location: Built on the SE corner of the intersection of Auburn Center
and Baker (or Hanna) Rds., Auburn Twp., Crawford Co., Ohio
(gone now)
The school is shown on the property of John Sheckler in 1855 and in 1873 the property
has passed to James Sheckler. The Baptist Church is shown on the A. J. Howe property
in 1855 and by 1873 it had passed to the heirs of A. J. Howe.
The school became part of the Tiro school district c. 1915 and was used until about
1922 when it was sold. It was moved several times after being sold until after
many years it was finally demolished.
